Clearly Cloudy...

In this world it is so clear that we are just a big group of messed up people.

"But God's angry displeasure erupts as acts of human mistrust and wrongdoing and lying accumulate, as people try to put a shroud over truth. But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse." - Romans 1:18-20

God is plain enough. It is evident that we are lost. We are wading through the murky waters trying to detect the line between the truth and a lie.

We must trust God to lead us out of these foggy times, through the clouds of confusion. And look to what he has made clear, his attributes, his power and his nature. One very smart young lady told me once, "Don't tell God how big your storm is, Tell the storm how big your God is." God has made it plain to us. We have no excuse. He is clearly seen through the storm. Look past the storm. Look past the fog. Look past the clouds. Because it's so clearly cloudy in the land of the gray.
