Summer is GREAT !!!

Well Everyone, it's been a while but I am writing yet again so I haven't forgotten you all yet !!! This Summer has been GREAT and I'm sad to see it go. But for an update I shall cover as much of the contents of this summer I can in one post. The day before my 17th Birthday I had my wisdom teeth surgically extracted. It was a very pleasant and a very painful one. I spent my whole birthday sleeping and eating ice cream. Those high powered medication was really good stuff too ! I was still a little swollen when we left to head down to Ft. Mill SC to go hang out at Morning Star and attend their Furnace Worship Conference. It was fun going to classes and the outpouring services with my family and spending time together. Jason Upton came and taught and lead some worship which was really cool to be apart of.
Then after a week at Morning Star I headed off to ZHOP which is across the road to attend Camp David. That was really cool as well. I got to spend extended hours in the prayer room meditating on scripture. I was a part of sieges at a local abortion clinic which is a prayer meeting in front of abortion clinics for the ending of abortion supported and organized by Bound4Life. I was apart of a few intersession sets at ZHOP both singing and playing bass. I went to a local Baseball game and went ice skateing. I climbed a mountain that took almost 6mi. of hiking.

As you can tell it was absolutely beautiful once we reached the top. The climb to the top and the ten million stairs that it took to reach it was a little difficult though. I made some great friends there and I learned so much. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back and visit! It was nice to come home too, I spent the whole next week being a leader in the 2nd and 3rd grade class in the 2008 Son World VBS. It was all based off of a amusement park theme so they built a roller coaster in the sanctuary it was fun. For the rest of the summer I pretty much just slept a lot and got ready for school to start. I am going to try to post more frequently so that I don't have to sum up my whole fall in one post as well !!!
